70201 Bluegrass Banjo

A bright, ringing sound rose up from the lush Kentucky plains and spread across all America. It was the sound of a five-string bluegrass banjo. Now, you and your OPTIGAN® Music Maker can recreate that exciting sound, along with bass, drums, mandolin and guitar… all with just one finger!

  • Notes: This disc features arguably the most “famous” musicians of any Optigan® recording. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band was hired by Mike LeDoux, mostly because he was learning banjo at the time and John McKuen was something of a hero to him. The NGD Band also recorded several other style sessions, but this is the only one that made it onto disc.
