Robert & Pea will be holding court in booth 37 at Synthplex in Burbank, LA, Oct 27-30. If you’re in the area, stop by and see us! We’ll have a couple of Panoptigons for you to try out, as well as a vintage Optigan and Orchestron. We’ll also have a few sample items from our new merch store. We won’t have any actual merch onhand to sell, but you can preview the quality and order something via QR code. 100% of our cut of merch sales goes toward our Optical Disc Lab project.

Speaking of which, after jumping through several logistical hoops, the film processor finally arrived at Quilter Labs on October 10. Robert and the warehouse team quickly unpacked it and did an inspection (everything appeared to be in order). Robert installed the legs and moved it into the lab (aka, future darkroom). Robert contacted a plumber today (October 18) to connect water to the sink and water panel (that thing on the wall). Next step: Call electrician to run power (220VAC, 16A) and install disconnect box. Also need to install blower and ducting for ventilation.
